Chorlton Planning Ltd was formed in 1996 by Alan Chorlton with Caroline Tamworth joining the practice on a full time basis in 2000. Our team of chartered town planners has a combined 60 years of experience and has dealt with thousands of planning cases covering a wide range of issues.
Alan Chorlton, MRTPI
Alan is a full member of the RTPI and has over 45 years of experience in his field having provided advice and representation for public, private and institutional clients on a wide range of planning matters.
Caroline Tamworth, MA, BA (Hons), MRTPI
Caroline is a full member of the RTPI having gained a BA (Hons) degree in Town and Country Planning from the University of Manchester and a Masters degree in Town and Regional Planning from Leeds Metropolitan University. Caroline has over fifteen years of experience in town planning and has handled a wide range of planning applications, appeals and development management related projects on behalf of clients both within the private and public sector.
